One of the first things I always work on with clients is helping them uncover, understand and overcome the reasons why they have failed in the past. In every case, the reason lies somewhere within them… the stories they’ve told themselves, the excuses they’ve made, the thoughts, feelings and resulting actions that have brought them back to the same place every time, square one. Once you start to recognize the thought patterns and emotional response, you can start to change them, leading to new, different actions with positive outcomes. Exploring within is the first step to long term, sustainable change.

Pillar #2: Making Healthy Choices

Next is to start to carve out what a healthy lifestyle looks like for you. Even with your busy life, you will learn how to incorporate exercise, healthy food choices and how to make the best decision in any situation. You will learn how to set boundaries and design your environment for long term success. This is not a diet, this is a lifestyle that you will be able to sustain for the rest of your life.

Pillar #3: One Step At A Time

One of the reasons you’ve likely failed in the past is an “all or nothing” mindset. That kind of thinking leads to “falling off the wagon” and going back to old ways when you inevitably slip up, then beat yourself up for it. With what I will teach you, there will be no wagon to fall off of. You will learn to make small, sustainable changes, one step at a time. Baby steps don’t sound cool, but they are key to long terms success. Following what I teach, you will make steady progress and, more importantly, be able to maintain your goal state because you will have learned an entirely new way of being. Jeff gets you, because he’s like you…

Husband, father and extremely mediocre pickleball player who has found a way to balance his sweet tooth, migraines, arthritic neck and other general insults of aging and reckless youth.

Jeff’s journey towards balanced health started 2010, inspired by his kids. Since then, he’s been on a health and fitness winding road that has involved unequal amounts of experimentation, self-education and of course certification!

In H3H, Jeff primarily focuses on that last H – Health. In working with clients to achieve their health goals, Jeff quickly learned that it’s usually not donuts and soda holding people back – it’s their mindset.

Jeff specializes in helping clients uncover and move past the inner blocks that have led to poor eating and lifestyle choices.

That’s where the life coaching comes in: getting underneath the behaviors to the thoughts and emotions that led to the action.

Once you get to the core of the issues, you can then start to solve them, once and for all.
